18 February 2010: see my recent notes about this page on my general Minerals page, from which I moved the opening art and first 2 links.  I remember now why I never finished this six years ago -- I wanted to do an extensive section on Timna, scanning art from Time/Life Books, etc, etc.  It would have been a labor of love but also very, very, very time-consuming.  I just didn't have the energy, so kept stalling.  This time around, I'm going to add links as I find them and not "obsess" over the work.  It'll get done when it gets done.
